LAKE SIBOLLA
The most important marshland bio-tope in Tuscany.
The lake maintain a "relict" vegetation which managed to survive the Ice-ages.
In the middle of the lake grow rare species like White Water-lilies and the YellowNymphaea
The waters attract frog-fish and diving ducks like the Tufted and the Pochard,
Marshy Orchids, Wild-Ducks, Dragon flies and others fen birds. In the Nature Reserve it is possible to make bird watching (Wild Ducks, Kingfisher etc)
